Garden City University also known as GCU was established under the Karnataka State Act no. 47 of 2013. The university has been recognised by the University Grants Commission. The Governor of Karnataka signed the Garden City University Act on March 26, 2013, and it was published in the Karnataka Gazette on April 12, 2013. As a result, GCU, Bengaluru, has been added to the approved private universities in India by the University Grants Commission. The problems encountered during the pandemic were considered while determining the charge. At the entry level, students are eligible for a sports scholarship, a talent scholarship, a cultural award, and an alumni recommendation scholarship. All program fees are paid in two installments each year.
Finance-Peer has partnered with the university to provide interest-free student loans that may be paid back in easy EMIs. The university assures that students are not charged any additional fees beyond those stated in the pricing structure for a particular program.
- Finacepeer and Scholfe are two digital companies that offer 0% interest loans at no additional cost. They've partnered with over 100 institutions and universities around the country to provide Interest-Free Monthly Instalments.
- As a goodwill gesture, GCU has partnered with Finacepeer and Scholfe to facilitate payment of fees through interest-free monthly installments at no extra expense, as the university will cover the cost.
- Finacepeer and Scholfe additionally provide a payment plan that combines the previous year's pending academic fees with the current year's academic fees in interest-free monthly installments as a bonus.
- This opportunity is available by paying only ONE ADVANCE EMI.
Students must submit an INR 5000 caution deposit, of which INR 3000 will be repaid once they have completed their studies. In addition, the lifetime membership of the GCU alumni association will be deducted by INR 2000.
